Dani is ready to make an espace with her 11 year old son, from an abusive husband Kurt.


When Kurt gets killed she think her terrible life had just ended. What she doesn't know is that it has just begun.


Kurt was an FBI agent and when he was alive he took something very importand from an unknown person. Now this myserious individual is after Dani, and he wants it back, believing she must have it, but she doesn't know what it is.

As she and her son run for their lives, they have nowhere to turn, until she hires Adam Buchanan of Operation Refuge and goes into hiding. Unfortunately, she won't be able to hide for long . . .


This book has many twists and turns. Its a fantastic page turner and I couldn't put it down. I love Lynette Eason, she is one of the best suspense authors ever.


The characters are so well developed and realistic.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read.
