Love Amid the Ashes
Readers often think of Job sitting on the ash heap, his life in shambles. But how did he get there? What was Job's life like before tragedy struck? What did he think as his world came crashing down around him? And what was life like after God restored his wealth, health, and family?

Through painstaking research and a writer's creative mind, Mesu Andrews weaves an emotional and stirring account of this well-known story told through the eyes of the women who loved him. Drawing together the account of Job with those of Esau's tribe and Jacob's daughter Dinah, Love Amid the Ashes breathes life, romance, and passion into the classic biblical story of suffering and steadfast faith.

REVIEW
5 out of 5

In the Shadow of Jezebel, ia a very captivating, well researched story of a very popular, biblical character and those directly impacted by her.

Jehosheba has been raised by her mother Thaliah, the daughter of Jezebel to be a baal priestess, but instead she is given as a bride to God's high priest, Jehoiada. Marrying the high priest Jehoida will be a new kind of life for her. Will she learn to love her husband's God and help to cast off the shadow of Jezebel?

This book is written in such a way that I feel as if Biblical characters came to life. It's an intriguing story that contains high drama, true romance and intense suspense.

I was provided a copy of this book by Revell, in exchange for my honest review.
